I wish I saw this presentation. I have two comments:

1. Love the Dunning-Kruger effect. This is a massive issue in Australia and New Zealand (where I am based).

2. Love how you refer back to comments and messages you spoke about back in the early 2,000’s when you wrote for the Grok and Clickz. That is when I began following you:) It proves what you said back then is still relevant and critical today. A sign of vision and forward thinking.

Love the content…keep it coming.

They also do not understand why making your current customers a higher priority than gaining new ones will drive more profits.

But how can C-suite executives not understand how conversion optimization increases sales and ROI while reducing the cost of buying traffic? Isn’t that their primary purpose? Wow.

It is up to the CROs to find visual aids to SHOW THEM what CRO does for them and why cutting CRO when tightening budgets is the very last thing they should do.

What tools are CROs using to do this? Besides marketing automation, perhaps something like DataPine could be useful. Maybe even setting up regular reports in Cyfe with just the big picture view would be beneficial.
