I love the example of the theater. Horse tracks have an affordable dining area that does something similar and also sky boxes for patrons with deeper pockets.

The owner of a little grocery store in a town of 825 did something I thought was simply brilliant. And now you see it in stores like Whole Foods. He added a little cafe. So if you wanted to go out and eat, you might as well pick up a few groceries. And if you needed groceries, you might as well sit down and eat first. He more than doubled sales.

Every business has to think about what else customers would love. And above all, they need to get rid of any employee who damages the customer experience. One bad waitress in a restaurant or hateful cashier can run your customers off and destroy your business.

Customer centric… what does it really mean? Opinions vary, but Bryan opens the conversation to a much bigger and more interesting discussion…
