You do mention responsive design in the next section, but I think that you should have elaborated a bit. People need to understand that most browsing is going to be done through mobile devices in the not so distant future and they should adapt their sites accordingly.

Although it can be challenging to measure that, even with a complex algorithm, they are certainly keeping an eye on things. Ranking signals are changing because visitor behavior is change and technology is progressing at a rapid pace. It will be really interesting to see where SEO is in about 5 years.
